Choosing
A cargo van has two seats and everything behind is load space. A crew cargo van seats five to six with a bulkhead and a smaller bay behind. If your team is arriving separately, take the cargo van and get the full bay. If the crew and the kit move together — which is how most production and trade work actually runs — the crew van saves you renting two vehicles.
The high roof cargo bay handles most one-bedroom moves in one or two runs, including mattresses and furniture that will not go into a standard-roof van. Larger moves need multiple trips or a box truck. For trade and production work, the flat floor and side sliding door matter more than raw volume — loading from the kerb is considerably easier than through rear doors only.
