Choosing

Getting the size right.

Count the luggage, not just the people

The mistake groups make is booking to seat count. A 15 passenger van seats fifteen, but with all five rows in place the rear bay is modest. Fifteen people with full-size suitcases will not fit comfortably. Either size the van to your luggage as well as your headcount, or add a cargo van at $115 a day, which is usually cheaper than a second passenger van.

The 9 passenger is the comfort option

It is not simply the small one. The 9 passenger is our executive configuration — captain's chairs with armrests, more legroom per seat, and a full luggage bay because the last row sits ahead of the rear doors. For client travel or a wedding party it is the one to take even if you could technically fit into something smaller.

Driving them

All three take a standard US driver's licence. No commercial licence, no endorsement, no special training. They have automatic transmissions and reversing cameras, and most people are comfortable within a few miles. The one thing to watch is height: the high roof is taller than an SUV, so check clearances before entering older parking structures.

FAQ

Questions.

What sizes of passenger van do you rent?
Nine, twelve and fifteen passenger Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans, all high roof with individual seats. Every one includes 300 miles per day with no mileage radius, from $250 per day.
Which passenger van should I choose?
Up to nine people with luggage, take the 9 passenger. Ten to twelve, the 12 passenger. Thirteen to fifteen, the 15 passenger. If your group is near a threshold and carrying heavy suitcases, size up — the rear luggage bay shrinks as seating rows are added.
Do I need a special licence for a passenger van?
No. A standard US driver's licence covers all our passenger vans, including the fifteen seat. No commercial licence or endorsement is required. Drivers must be 25 or older.
How much is passenger van rental in Los Angeles?
From $250 per day, with weekly and monthly rentals at a reduced daily rate. All rates include 300 miles per day and additional miles are $0.25 each. Rates effective 19 July 2026.
